Reverse description A bull standing to the right, rendered in profile with sturdy musculature, occupying the central field of the reverse. On some specimens a crescent symbol appears on the animal's flank, a local civic emblem associated with Hadrianotherae. The figure stands on a ground line, with the ethnic legend of the city disposed around the periphery in Greek capitals. The composition is enclosed within a dotted border, typical of Mysian provincial coinage of the Severan period.
