| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Philip I facing right, presented from a rear three-quarter perspective, with the emperor's military attire rendered in low relief. The obverse legend encircles the effigy along the periphery of the flan, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
