Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Otacilia Severa facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Phrygian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. The empress is depicted with a stephane diadem and draped paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The obverse legend is distributed around the bust in Greek characters. The flan is irregular with a notch visible at the upper edge, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze issues of this period.
