(Translation: Emperor Caesar Gaius Julius Verus Maximinus)
Reverse description Athena standing facing, head turned to the left, attired in helmet and long chiton, holding a patera in her extended right hand and resting her left arm upon a large round shield set to her side. The goddess is rendered in the classical tradition typical of provincial Mysian coinage, occupying the central field with a commanding, upright posture. The encircling Greek legend names the local strategos Eutyches and identifies the issuing civic authority of Adramyteum.
