Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Marcus Aurelius facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Lycaonian civic coinage. The emperor's portrait is shown with beard, consistent with representations from his co-rule with Lucius Verus onward. A dotted border frames the periphery of the flan. The Greek legend ΑΥΤΟΚ ΚΑΙϹ Μ ΑΥΡΗΛ ΑΝΤω is disposed around the bust, identifying the emperor as Autocrator Caesar Marcus Aurelius Antoninus.
