Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Marcus Aurelius facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Mesopotamian civic issues. The emperor's effigy is depicted with curled hair beneath a laurel wreath, with drapery visible at the shoulder truncation. A Greek imperial titulature legend surrounds the bust in the field, distributed across both sides of the portrait.
