Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Crispina facing right, her hair arranged in the typical Antonine style with waves drawn back and gathered at the nape, presented with regal composure. The portrait is rendered in moderate relief consistent with provincial Asiatic coinage of the period. The encircling legend ΚΡΙϹΠΙΝΑ ϹΕΒΑϹΤΗ runs around the periphery of the field, identifying the empress by her imperial title Augusta.
