| Obverse description | Youthful laureate bust of Commodus, draped in cuirass and paludamentum, facing right and seen from the rear. The effigy displays the characteristic early portraiture of Commodus as co-emperor, with a beardless juvenile face. The legend is disposed around the bust in the field. The overall style is consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Lydian conventus under joint rule of Marcus Aurelius and Commodus. |

The goddess is depicted in a stately, hieratic pose consistent with Hellenistic religious iconography as venerated at Nysa, where her cult was of particular local significance. The ethnic legend of the issuing city is disposed around the figure in the field. The strike is somewhat weak, with moderate surface patination typical of provincial Lydian bronzes. |
