Obverse description Draped bust of the personified Senate (ΙΕΡΑ ϹΥΝΚΛΗΤΟϹ) facing right, rendered with a laureate or wreathed head in the Hellenistic tradition typical of provincial civic coinage. The portrait displays finely modeled hair and drapery over the shoulder, consistent with the idealized anthropomorphic representation of the Roman Senate as a divine entity. The encircling Greek legend is distributed around the bust within the coin's field. The style reflects the local workshop conventions of the Mysian Conventus of Adramyteum under Hadrian.
