Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, depicted from behind in the three-quarter rear view characteristic of later provincial portraiture. The effigy displays the imperial paludamentum fastened at the shoulder, with the cuirass rendered in relief. The obverse legend in Greek runs around the periphery of the field, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
