| Reverse description | Nike, the winged goddess of victory, depicted standing and facing right in a flowing garment, her wings partially spread. She holds a victor's wreath in her extended right hand and a tall palm branch in her left. The divided Greek legend in the field reads ΕΤΟ - ΚΖ ΒΑ (Year 27 of the reign) on the upper register and ΑΓΡΙ - ΠΠΑ (Agrippa) on the lower register, flanking the central figure. The composition is set within a dotted border and is characteristic of the civic bronze coinage issued under the authority of King Agrippa II at Caesarea Paneas. |
