Reverse description A tetrastyle temple rendered in three-quarter perspective, its four columns framing a cult statue of Apollo Smintheus standing upon a short column within the cella. The deity faces right, a quiver visible at his shoulder, holding a patera extended over a lighted tripod and grasping a bow in the opposite hand. The reverse legend is distributed around the type in the field, identifying the issuing colony. The architectural rendering reflects the Roman provincial tradition of depicting local sanctuary buildings on civic coinage.
