Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Commodus facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Bithynian coinage. The emperor's portrait displays his characteristic features with a laurel wreath crowning his head. The circular legend reads Α Κ Μ ΑΥ ΚΟ ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟϹ (Aurelius Commodus Antoninus) distributed around the bust in Greek script. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, typical of provincial bronze coinage of the period.
