Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Thracian civic coinage. The imperial effigy occupies the majority of the field, with the portrait displaying the characteristic strong features associated with Caracalla's mature type. The circular Greek legend surrounds the bust, reading ΑVΤ Κ Μ ΑVΡ ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟϹ, identifying the emperor by his official titulature. The flan is irregular in shape, as is typical of hammered provincial bronze issues of the Severan period. The surface bears an even green patina consistent with extended burial.

Reverse description A standing male figure, likely a local deity or personification, depicted facing left in the field of the coin. The figure appears draped and is shown in a dynamic posture, possibly engaged in a ritual or civic act. The surrounding circular Greek legend reads ΟVΛΠΙΑϹ ΤΟΠΙΡΟV, identifying the issuing city of Ulpia Topirus. The design is typical of Thracian provincial civic reverses of the Severan era, featuring local divine or heroic imagery as a mark of civic pride. The irregular flan and somewhat flat strike are consistent with the hammered technique standard for this provincial series.
