Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Alexandrian mint coinage. The emperor's effigy displays a laurel wreath and visible drapery at the shoulder. The Greek imperial legend encircles the portrait, reading partially around the periphery of the flan, with some letters lost due to the irregular striking and flan edge chip. The portrait is executed in moderate relief consistent with mid-second century Alexandrian bronze coinage.
