| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style of the Alexandrian mint. The imperial effigy displays characteristic second-century portraiture with a wreath of laurel encircling the head. The Greek legend surrounds the bust, reading clockwise from the lower left, giving the emperor's full titulature in abbreviated form. The flan is irregular and the coin exhibits typical characteristics of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the Antonine period. |
