The Greek bilinear legend ΗΡΑΙΑ ΝΕΜΕΙΑ, referencing the Heraian and Nemean games, is distributed in the left and right fields respectively. A modern piercing is present beneath the table. The composition is characteristic of Argive civic bronze coinage commemorating local agonistic traditions under Roman imperial authority. |
