Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The emperor's effigy displays his characteristic full beard and laurel wreath, with curling hair visible at the nape. The encircling Greek legend ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟϹ runs along the periphery of the flan, identifying the ruler in the Eastern imperial titulature. The portrait is modelled in moderately high relief, consistent with mid-Antonine provincial die-cutting conventions.
