Reverse description A prize table depicted in the form of a tablet mounted on a Y-shaped or tripod base, upon which rest three agonistic prize crowns. The central crown supports a pyramid of six apples, a traditional symbol of sacred games victory, while from each of the two flanking crowns emerge two upright palm branches, emblems of athletic triumph. The composition references the three sacred games celebrated at Nicaea: the Pythia, the Severeia, and the Augousteia. The reverse field is framed by the civic legend of Nicaea in Greek.
