Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Salonina facing right, wearing a diadem, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Bithynian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. The legend encircles the portrait, identifying the empress by her titles. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical patination consistent with provincial bronze issues of the Valerianic period.

Reverse description Standing figure of Tyche, depicted in full length facing left, holding a ship's rudder in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left hand, emblematic of the city's prosperity and fortune. The composition follows standard iconographic conventions for civic personifications on provincial bronzes of the reign of Valerian and Gallienus. The encircling legend names the issuing city in the genitive case. The reverse field is worn consistent with the coin's heavily patinated and corroded condition.
