Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Empress Salonina facing right, set upon a crescent. The effigy displays the characteristic portrait style of mid-third century provincial coinage, with the diadem rendered in relief and the drapery indicated across the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend identifies the empress by her full imperial title. The flan is irregular and the surface heavily patinated, obscuring fine detail.
