Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Trebonianus Gallus facing right, presented from a rear three-quarter perspective, a characteristic provincial rendering typical of the Alexandrian Troas mint. The emperor's effigy displays a radiate crown of laurel, military paludamentum over the cuirass, and folds of drapery visible at the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer border of the flan. The portrait, though worn, retains the broad facial features and slightly forward-thrust jaw associated with Gallus's recognized iconographic type.
