| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Severus Alexander facing right, seen from behind, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian Troas mint, with a broad flan and moderately high relief. The legend encircles the bust, partially abbreviated and with variant orthography as recorded. |
