Reverse description Tyche, the personification of civic fortune, stands facing left in a composed frontal pose, her head crowned with a kalathos (polos). In her extended right hand she holds a ship's rudder, symbolising guidance and prosperity, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia overflowing with fruits, emblematic of abundance. The figure is rendered in the conventional provincial Greek style, with flowing drapery falling to her feet. The encircling legend identifies the issuing community in Greek script.
