| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip II as Caesar facing right, rendered three-quarters from the rear in the characteristic provincial style. The portrait shows the youthful features of the prince, with visible paludamentum draping over the cuirass. The encircling Greek legend names the Caesar in full, disposed around the bust in the field. |

| Reverse description | Athena, helmeted and wearing a long chiton, stands facing left in the centre of the field. In her extended right hand she holds a patera, while her left hand grasps an upright spear, against which leans a round shield at her side. The composition is typical of the Thyatiran civic bronze tradition, and the encircling ethnic legend in Greek runs around the periphery. |
