Obverse description Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip II facing right, rendered in three-quarter rear view. The youthful effigy displays close-cropped hair and military attire with pteryges visible at the shoulder. The Greek legend surrounds the portrait peripherally, partially visible due to the irregular flan. The coin shows a dark olive-green patina consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the mid-third century AD.
