| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Crispina facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and secured, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Lydian civic coinage of the Antonine period. The effigy displays the characteristic portraiture of the empress consort of Commodus, with visible drapery folds at the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend names the empress with her imperial title. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show typical patination of a hammered bronze provincial issue. |
