Reverse description Standing female figure, facing left, wearing a kalathos (modius-like crown), identified tentatively as Homonoia or Tyche, depicted in long chiton and himation. She holds in her extended right hand an uncertain object, possibly a patera extended over a small altar, and in her left hand a cornucopia, symbol of abundance and civic prosperity. The reverse legend ΜΗΤ ΝΕΩ ΝΙΚΟΜΗΔΕΙΑϹ surrounds the type, identifying the issuing city as the neokoros metropolis of Nicomedia in Bithynia.
