Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of the emperor Hadrian facing right, wearing a paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style typical of the Conventus of Adramyteum, with the laureate wreath clearly visible atop the head. A Greek legend encircles the bust, reading partially ϹΕΒΑϹ ΤΡΑΙΑΝΟϹ ΑΔΡΙΑΝ, identifying the emperor by his titles and name. The surface exhibits a dark green patina consistent with long-term burial, and the flan is slightly irregular in outline.
