| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Cilician civic coinage. The laureate wreath is visible atop the head, with drapery indicated over the left shoulder. The portrait displays the characteristic short beard associated with Hadrian's later iconography. The field is largely plain, with no visible legend on this side, consistent with many issues of Pompeiopolis. The die work reflects competent but provincial engraving of the Hadrianic period. |

| Reverse description | Athena standing left, clad in aegis and helmet, extending her right hand to present a small Nike figure, while her left hand rests upon a grounded shield at her side. The composition follows the standard Athena Promachos-derived type common in Cilician provincial coinage. In the left field appears the civic era date ϚЧΡ (year 216 of the Pompeiopolis civic era, corresponding to 131-132 AD). The encircling ethnic legend ΠΟΜΠΗΙΟΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ identifies the issuing city. The reverse die is characteristic of the civic bronze coinage struck under Hadrian's eastern travels. |
