| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Gordian III facing right, portrayed in three-quarter front view, with the radiate crown's spikes clearly rendered. The imperial paludamentum is visible over the cuirass. The Greek legend encircles the effigy along the periphery of the flan, which shows the characteristic irregular edge typical of provincially struck bronzes of this period. |
