| Reverse description | Two agonistic crowns, each adorned with a projecting palm branch, displayed side by side in the central field, referencing the sacred games held under Cyzicus's neocorate status. The legend is arranged in multiple lines and around the periphery, recording the name of the local strategos and the city's double neocorate distinction. A dividing line separates the crown devices from the lower portion of the inscription. The reverse composition is typical of honorific provincial bronzes struck to commemorate Cyzicus's privileged religious and civic standing within the Roman imperial cult. |
