Obverse description Draped bust of Empress Cornelia Salonina facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and drawn back, depicted in the characteristic court style of the mid-third century. The effigy is rendered in low relief with the drapery indicated at the truncation. The surrounding Greek legend names the empress with her imperial title. The flan is irregular, and the surface shows the typical patination and wear of a provincially struck bronze issue.
