Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Demos facing right, rendered in the characteristic rough provincial style of the Aphrodisian mint. The portrait is boldly struck but coarsely engraved, with the laureate wreath visible atop the head and drapery indicated at the shoulder. The circumferential Greek legend is distributed around the bust in the field. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show heavy patination consistent with extended burial.
