Reverse description Tyche of the city enthroned on a rocky eminence, seated to the left, wearing a turreted crown and rendered in draped attire. She extends her right hand to hold an eagle, which faces right with wings spread or folded. The composition is characteristic of civic personification types on Mesopotamian provincial bronzes of the Severan period. The partially preserved Greek legend in the field and exergue references the Rhesaenians and a legionary association. The style is typical of the local mint's output under Elagabalus.
