Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Achaean colonial mint at Patras. The effigy displays the laureate wreath atop curled hair, with drapery visible at the shoulder. A Latin imperial legend encircles the bust, interrupted on either side. The portrait, though worn, retains the broad facial structure and strong jaw conventionally associated with Domitianic portraiture on provincial bronzes.
Obverse script Latin
Obverse lettering IMP CAES DOM AVG G-ERM P M TR P V C
(Translation: Emperor Caesar Domitian Augustus Germanicus, chief priest, with tribunician power for the fifth time, censor)
