Reverse description A legionary aquila (eagle standard) depicted centrally between two military standards, each adorned with phalerae (circular military decorations) arranged vertically along the shaft. The composition is characteristic of colonial Roman military iconography, referencing the legions associated with the colony of Patras. The standards and eagle are rendered in moderate relief, consistent with provincial hammered bronze coinage of the Flavian period.
