Obverse description Draped and cuirassed laureate bust of Emperor Commodus, with long beard, facing right and seen from the rear, the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Lydian civic coinage of the late 2nd century AD. The obverse legend is disposed around the bust in Greek characters.
