| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, viewed from the rear, with a prominent bearded portrait rendered in the vigorous provincial style. The emperor wears a laurel wreath and scale-decorated cuirass, the musculature and drapery of the armour carefully articulated. The Latin legend is distributed around the periphery of the field, reading M AVR ANTONINVS. The portrait exhibits the characteristic square-jawed, thick-necked likeness associated with Caracalla's mature coinage. |

| Reverse description | Nike, the winged goddess of victory, advances left in full stride, her wings spread prominently behind her. She extends her right hand forward bearing a wreath and carries a long palm frond in her left hand; at her feet lies a wheel. The composition is rendered in the lively provincial style typical of Macedonian civic bronzes, with the figure occupying the full height of the flan. The Latin municipal legend MVNICI STOBEN is distributed around the field, identifying the issuing city of Stobi. |
