| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of the emperor Caracalla facing right, rendered in three-quarter view seen from the rear, as is characteristic of the provincial coinage of Alexandria Troas. The portrait displays the emperor in full military dress, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The surrounding field bears the Latin imperial legend. The flan surface shows typical patination consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period. |

| Reverse description | Drunken Hercules stumbling to the right, his body swaying unsteadily, supported from behind by a satyr who braces him with outstretched arms; a second satyr stands to the left in a symmetrical supporting posture, completing the Dionysiac scene. This reverse type, known as the 'drunken Hercules' motif, was a popular subject in the civic coinage of Alexandria Troas during the Severan dynasty. The colonial legend appears in the field, identifying the issuing city. The composition reflects Hellenistic artistic traditions adapted for Roman provincial coinage. |
