| Obverse description | Bare head of Publius Vedius Pollio facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style with close-cropped hair rendered in shallow relief. An uncertain object appears behind the portrait in the left field. The coin exhibits a broad, flat flan with a beaded border partially visible around the periphery. The portrait is executed in the Hellenistic civic tradition typical of the Lydian conventus coinage of the Augustan era. |
