| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, wearing the paludamentum over the cuirass, rendered in the typical provincial style of Bithynian civic coinage. The emperor's effigy is depicted with characteristic Antonine portraiture, featuring a full beard and laurel wreath. The encircling legend identifies the emperor in Greek characters. The flan is of slightly irregular form, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronze production of the Antonine period. |
