Obverse description Youthful bare-headed bust of Marcus Aurelius as Caesar, draped in cuirass and paludamentum, facing right with the drapery and armor visible from the rear perspective. The portrait reflects the early Antonine style characteristic of Marcus Aurelius's depiction prior to his accession, with idealized youthful features. The encircling legend identifies the subject in Greek characters. The flan is irregular, typical of provincial bronze coinage of the period.
