| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Antoninus Pius, draped in paludamentum and cuirass, facing right and presented from a rear three-quarter perspective. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style, with the laurel wreath clearly delineated about the head. The encircling Greek legend identifies the emperor by his full titulature. The portrait exhibits the characteristic workmanship of the Alexandrian mint, combining Roman imperial iconography with local artistic conventions. |
