| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing right, depicted with short beard and idealized imperial features typical of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The portrait is rendered in a relatively low relief characteristic of Egyptian provincial bronzes of the period. A partial Greek legend runs along the left and upper periphery of the flan, though heavily worn. The flan is irregular and somewhat broad, with surface showing considerable wear consistent with heavy circulation. |
