| Obverse description | Draped bust of Tyche facing right, wearing turreted crown, with a vexillum inscribed CO AV visible behind her. The effigy is rendered in the provincial Roman style typical of Alexandrian Troas coinage of the mid-third century. The circumferential legend runs around the bust in Latin characters. Surface patination is heavy, consistent with extended burial, partially obscuring fine detail of the drapery folds. |

| Reverse description | Complex cult scene in the provincial Roman tradition: to the left, the cult statue of Apollo Smintheus stands atop a short column, facing right, holding a patera in his extended right hand and a bow in his left; to the right, a bearded male figure, possibly identified as Alexander, stands facing left, holding a patera and a sceptre. Between the two figures rises a lighted tripod entwined by a serpent, a reference to Apolline cult ritual. In the upper field, an eagle flies to the right, clutching a bucranium in its talons, a motif closely associated with the religious iconography of the Troad. |
