| Obverse description | Draped bust of Tyche facing right, wearing turreted crown, set within a flan of irregular flan. A vexillum (military standard) appears behind the bust, inscribed CO AV, referencing the colonial status of the city. The legend ALEX TRO runs around the periphery, identifying Alexandria Troas as the issuing authority. The workmanship is consistent with provincial bronze coinage of the mid-third century AD. |
