| Obverse description | Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Volusian facing right, portrayed in three-quarter view from the rear, with the paludamentum visible across the left shoulder. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Alexandrian Troas mint, with bold, somewhat schematic modelling of the facial features. The encircling Latin legend runs around the periphery of the flan. |
