| Obverse description | Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Volusian facing right, viewed from the rear, the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Alexandria Troas, with bold relief and a radiate crown. The surrounding legend is partially preserved, reading IMP C VIBI AFINI OLVSSIANV, distributed around the bust. The flan is irregular, and the surfaces display typical provincial bronze patination with areas of green encrustation. |
