| Reverse description | Standing figure of Dionysus depicted facing, with head turned to the left, clad in himation draped about the lower body. In his raised right hand he holds a cantharus, and in his left hand a long thyrsus. At his feet crouches a panther, an attribute emblematic of the god. The composition is a standard provincial type referencing the Dionysiac cult, rendered in a style consistent with Carian civic bronzes of the Trajanic era. |
